Westwood Instruments - PERCUSSION UNTAMED is a Percussion instrument created from the tapping, thumping, banging and scratching sounds of violin, viola, cello and bass. We have recorded 40 unique sounds. There is a truly human feeling behind each one, some sounds more traditional while others are much more experimental.

More Vst Instruments & Sample Libraries...

Westwood Instruments - PERCUSSION UNTAMED Includes over 200 drag-and-drop MIDI loops written and performed by percussionists. A great starting point if you need instant inspiration. It's equally useful if you're on a tight deadline and just need something that works.
In any case, this is a library of percussion samples that is slightly different. Great for rhythmic string quartet arrangements, as well as full-blown action when you need something that doesn't feel like the percussion of any other composer.
As with all of our custom-designed interfaces, we want you to have a logical and clear placement where everything is at your fingertips.
To make the tool easier to understand, you can hover your mouse over any control and instructions will appear in the information bar of the Kontakt window.

Everything was recorded using Neve preamps and APIs, an AMEK Rembrandt console and recorded at 96 kHz using world-class Apogee AD16X A / D converters.
