Ilya Efimov - Contrabass balalaika - in the balalaika family of this tool has a special place. It is the largest in size, and the dynamics and sound - the most powerful and low. As with all balalaikas, It has three strings, tuned E-A-D.
The contrabass balalaika is played with a large leather pick, creating a softer, thicker, clearer sound. The notation in the bass clef is written an octave higher than its actual sound.
